A generational curse in the Bible can be found in the first book, Genesis , the story of Adam and Eve. After they disobeyed God's command not to eat the fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, Adam and Eve were expelled from the Garden of Eden. As a result of their sin, they and their descendants were cursed with the consequences of sin, including physical death and toil.

Dear Saints, as you prepare to step into the weekend, take time to commit every area of your life into God's hands. Invite Him to fill your heart with peace, renew your strength, and order your steps. Let every burden be exchanged for His rest, every worry replaced with faith, and every unanswered prayer surrendered to His perfect timing.

The Bible assures us in Proverbs 16:3, "Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans." This verse reminds us that when we dedicate our endeavors to God, entrusting them to His care, He faithfully directs our steps and blesses our endeavors. Y
