December Prayer Challenge: Ending the Year Well

Hello everyone. Can you believe it's already December 2023? Time really flies – it feels like we just welcomed January not too long ago. I've been reflecting on this past year, and there's so much to be thankful for. I'm sure many of you can relate. The world has seen its fair share of challenges, from economic shifts to natural disasters.Wars and rising cost of living. On a personal note, we've likely faced our own struggles, but here we are, still standing strong. Personally, I've had my share of ups and downs, but I made it through, and I give all credit ,honour and glory to God. God has been good to me and He has kept me as protected me this 2023, and I'm grateful. Indeed this year has been a rollercoaster, but expressing gratitude has been a game-changer. Taking time to count our blessings and acknowledge God's goodness has deepened my sense of joy. Prayer has played a significant role in this journey. Aligning my words with my heart during prayer has brought me peace and joy, fostering a genuine attitude of gratitude. It's comforting to know that God is always with us, never leaving our side. Instead of letting anxiety ,stress and worries take over, let us turn to prayer – and not just any prayer, but prayers filled with thanks and gratitude. We shouldn't just thank God for what He's going to do; let's appreciate Him for what He's already doing and He has done. He's our savior, provider, strength in times of weakness, and He never gives us more than we can handle.

As we approach the end of the year, let's take a moment to praise God for all the incredible things He's done in our lives. Here's to wrapping up 2023 with a heart full of gratitude!

15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.”
